Arthur Joseph Pellegrene was a very special man.
Born on New Years Day in 1921, you just knew he would be special. He was highly decorated and faced some of the fiercest fighting during the Battle of the Bulge in 1944, yet was among the quietest and gentlest souls we have ever had the pleasure of knowing.
Unassumingly simple, yet complex and deep. Part of a generation that gave much, and demanded little in return.
He will be missed.
